Imran Series by Ibne Safi

Before spy fiction got crowded, Ibne Safi gave Urdu readers a hero who joked his way through danger. Jild after jild Ali Imran and the Black Zero team take on villains, secret organisations and puzzles that refuse to stay simple.

Novels in Imran Series by Ibne Safi

Who Ibne Safi was

Asrar Ahmad, known by the pen name Ibn-e-Safi, was a Pakistani fiction writer, novelist and poet who wrote in Urdu. The Imran Series is one of the worlds he created. Later writers such as Mazhar Kaleem MA continued it. Reading the original jilds shows where the whole series began.

What you feel while reading

These are classic adventures with a classic rhythm. A strange crime opens the jild, Imran plays the fool and the pieces slowly fall into place. You smile at the jokes and then sit up when the trap closes. The final page rewards the patience.

How the jilds are numbered

The library holds jilds 1 to 35 in order. The number is part of every title. Several jilds bundle more than one novel, so 33 of the pages list the novels inside. That makes it easy to see what you are about to read before you open the PDF.

Where to start

Start with Khofnak Imarat (jild 1) and keep going in order. A typical jild runs around 160 pages. Of the 35, 34 are single PDFs to open or save and 1 is split into episodes.

After the originals

Once you have followed Ali Imran through the early jilds you can move on to the adventures written by Mazhar Kaleem MA or return to the whole series page. The links under the heading take you straight there.
